But really though, what good is a film without audio? We may be bias but, audio is half the experience of watching a film, especially your wedding film. That’s why we put such an emphasis on it. Audio generates emotion in a way that visuals alone cannot.
Drones have become extremely popular over the years and we love to use them for weddings. It gives a different perspective, a birds eye view you could say. It’s a fantastic way to showcase your venue while giving you access to angles that a camera on the ground cannot. Drones allow us to get more creative and playful with our shots and in turn giving your wedding film a very cinematic look.
Slow motion captures a unique moment during your wedding day and freezes it. Whether it’s laughter or an emotional outcry, it elevates that moment of drama and gives it a cinematic feel while adding more detail than it would being at regular speed. We dedicate our Sony a7siii to only film in slow motion during your wedding, to always have the option to slow down the footage in post production. Of course the quality doesn’t drop either as we shoot 60fps or 120fps all in 4K.
Multiple cameras give you multiple angles meaning multiple focus points. When shooting a wedding ceremony we use 3 cameras minimum and sometimes even more. When hiring a videographer for your wedding, one question you should ask is how many cameras will be used during the ceremony and will audio be recorded. If it’s only one camera it means you will get one angle and / or many critical parts will be missed. There are no redos during a ceremony, once it’s missed, it’s gone!
